Elevate apps

Elevate mobile and desktop apps

Take your business phone anywhere. The Elevate app for PC, Mac, iPhone and Android makes and takes calls on your company number, so remote and hybrid staff work exactly as they would at the office.

Why it matters

The problem with personal mobiles

1

Customers see a personal number

Calls from staff mobiles show an unfamiliar number, get ignored, and leave your business with no record of the conversation.

2

Calls fall through the cracks

When someone is out of the office a call to their desk phone simply rings out, or goes to a voicemail nobody checks.

3

Home working is patchy

Forwarding rules and borrowed softphones are fiddly, and every new starter needs a separate setup.

What you get

What the apps do

Business calling on any device

Make and receive calls over Wi-Fi or mobile data using your business number, in HD voice quality.

Business SMS

Send and receive texts from the same business identity, so replies come back to the company, not a personal handset.

Presence at a glance

See who is available, on a call or away before you transfer or ask a question.

Desktop app for PC and Mac

Calls, contacts, voicemail, chat, screen sharing and video in one window, with a deskphone mode and a computer mode.

Call control mid-call

Transfer, park, flip and switch a live call between your desk phone, laptop and mobile without dropping it.

Voicemail wherever you are

Check and manage voicemail, and set greetings and settings, from the mobile or desktop app.

One number on every device

With Elevate, the desk phone, the desktop app and the mobile app all belong to the same user. A call to your number can ring all of them at once, or in the order you choose, and the first one you answer takes it. Outbound calls carry your business number, so a customer calling back always reaches the company.

On Pro licences a user can be signed in on up to five devices at the same time. Everyone else still gets the full feature set across desk phone, desktop and mobile.

Move a call without losing it

Start a call at your desk and flip it to your mobile as you leave for a site visit, or switch from mobile to laptop when you sit down. The caller stays on the line and nothing is redialled. Three-way calling and call transfer are available from the mobile app too, so a field engineer can bring a colleague into a customer call.

Built for remote and hybrid teams

Because the apps need only an internet connection, a new starter can be live in minutes: install the app, sign in and they are on the company directory with the right call groups. Leavers are removed from the portal in one step. If the office is unreachable for any reason, calls can ring staff mobiles or be redirected to a number of your choice, which is a practical answer to business continuity. Your questions answered

Is there an Elevate app for iPhone and Android?+

Yes. The Elevate mobile app runs on iPhone and Android and lets staff make and receive calls and SMS on the business number over Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Is there an Elevate desktop app?+

Yes. The Elevate desktop app runs on Windows PC and Mac and combines calling, contacts, voicemail, chat, screen sharing and video.

Do I need a desk phone if I use the app?+

No. The apps can be your only phone, or you can use them alongside a desk phone. Many users have both, with the app for when they are away from their desk.

Can I use my personal mobile number as my business number?+

No, and you would not want to. The app uses the business number, keeping your personal number private and your customer calls attached to the company.

Will it use a lot of mobile data?+

Voice calls use relatively little data, and calls can run over Wi-Fi when available. Video meetings use more.

Can I use the app with Microsoft Teams?+

Yes. Elevate can be used inside Teams for calling. See Elevate for Microsoft Teams.
