Business phone systems across Cheshire, town by town

Cheshire businesses are spread along motorway junctions, market-town high streets and business parks rather than packed into one centre. A phone system has to work as well in Nantwich as it does at Birchwood.

Chester, Crewe and the market towns

Chester has a strong mix of legal, financial and tourism firms around the city walls and out at Chester Business Park, with 01244 numbers that many owners want to keep. Crewe is a rail and engineering town with the Bentley site and a long supply chain behind it, and Macclesfield and Northwich each have their own cluster of manufacturers and professional offices.

We design one system that links these sites together, so a customer ringing a Cheshire number gets the right person whether they are at a desk in Chester or on a forecourt near Sandbach.

2

Rural lines and ageing exchanges

Away from the main towns, the Cheshire Plain has farms, rural pubs and village offices where copper lines are long and broadband can be modest. That makes the ISDN and analogue switch-off, due to complete around January 2027, a real planning job rather than a formality.

We check what each site can actually receive, then pair a hosted phone system with fibre, FTTP or a 4G/5G backup where it makes sense. Existing numbers are ported across and the old lines are left live until your own team has tested the new ones.

Reception, hunt groups and out-of-hours routing

Practices, estate agents and trade counters across the county depend on a phone that is answered. We set up hunt groups, queues and voicemail-to-email, and route calls to mobiles when a small office is shut for a site visit.

If you want video calls and chat on the same platform, we supply Elevate as an official partner. Find out more.

One phone system for every Cheshire site, whether the office is in a city, a town or a farmyard.

Questions we get asked in Cheshire

Do you cover the whole of Cheshire?+

Yes. We work across the county, including Chester, Crewe, Macclesfield, Northwich and Warrington, and link sites in neighbouring areas into the same system.

Is a hosted system realistic where broadband is slow?+

Often yes, but we test the line first. Where speeds are weak we recommend a better connection or a mobile backup before going live.

Can you keep our local Cheshire numbers?+

Yes. We port geographic numbers from your current provider and plan the switch to avoid any gap in service.
